What started out as a morning-in-recovery in the kitchen on a MIDI keyboard morphed into a passion project for GCR managers Roddy & Rusty. ‘Lovers Tryst’ percolated and transformed over a time span nearly as long as the GCR label itself. The lyrics written and performed by Brigitte Zozula allude to a deeper sense of the overall project: the love of music and collaboration. With multiple VA contributions and remixes, ‘Lovers Tryst’ marks the debut EP for Roddy & Rusty as well as the GCR debut for Brigitte Zozula and Slow Hands, who lends his talents on guitar. Remixes from No Regular Play and John Barera & Will Martin cap off GCRLTD03, the label’s 5-year anniversary record!
